Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse and loading docks efficiently.
- Loading/Unloading: Efficiently load and unload freight trucks while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Inventory Support: Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counting and stock organization.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
- License: Valid Driver’s License (Class C) is required.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable work history and be available for Full-Time shifts.
