Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down/stand-up) to move, load, and unload materials in high-volume warehouse environments
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment daily, reporting maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize inventory flow using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners
- Strictly adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Train new hires on safe forklift operations and warehouse best practices
- Support year-end inventory audits and cycle counts with precision
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (mandatory)
- 2+ years of experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts in industrial settings
- Proficiency with warehouse technology (RF scanners, WMS)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to zero-accident standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
