Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Order Picker, and Counterbalance) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Conduct thorough daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain precise documentation of stock movements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet daily shipping and receiving targets efficiently.
- Assist in organizing pallets and storage areas to optimize warehouse space utilization.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order picking.
