Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect machinery daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist in packing, labeling, and preparing shipments for delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience operating forklifts in a distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
