Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in warehouse and dock environments
- Load/unload trucks and containers with precision and efficiency
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Manage inventory documentation and reporting systems
- Collaborate with warehouse team to maintain workflow efficiency
- Operate in climate-controlled and outdoor storage areas as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain company-provided certification)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if required
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
