Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload trucks and trailers with accuracy and care to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts, stock verification, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification Required: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CPL/Endorsement) is mandatory.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety compliance.
