Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory stock, ensuring accurate stock counts and placement.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Keep the work area clean and organized to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CDL Class B preferred or specific forklift certification).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy items throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime if required.
