Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the facility and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Verify inventory accuracy by checking stock against paperwork and adjusting records as necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Entry Level Friendly: No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training for qualified candidates.
- Valid Certification: Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- Availability: Must be available for overtime shifts and weekend work as required by business needs.
