Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload freight from trucks and delivery vehicles using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and verify orders using handheld RF scanners and computer systems.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Material Handling: Move materials within the warehouse and stack them in designated storage areas.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure proper labeling.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license is a plus; forklift certification is required for some shifts.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in data entry.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
