Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Material Handling: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Housekeeping: Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of debris to ensure operational efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure workflow continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus, but not required for entry-level roles.
- Licensing: Ability to obtain a valid forklift operator certification (we provide training).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate stairs or ramps.
- Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including overtime and weekends if needed.
