Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and dock areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage inventory counts and assist with cycle counting procedures
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow efficiency
- Complete accurate documentation for material movements and inventory updates
- Support warehouse cleanliness and organization standards
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with at least 1 year of recent experience
- Proven ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in busy environments
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and warehouse best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Experience with WMS systems preferred
