At Denver City Distribution Center, we pride ourselves on safety, efficiency, and teamwork. As we expand our operations, we are looking for dedicated individuals to help us keep our supply chain moving during the night hours.
Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move inventory.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks and trailers while adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, count, and organize stock to ensure inventory records match physical stock.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure safe passage for equipment.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with the day shift team to ensure seamless transition of duties.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required for immediate consideration).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Reliability: A strong work history with a focus on attendance and punctuality.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (not always required for forklift, but good to have).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
