As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections and equipment checks to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Sort, stack, and organize inventory with a focus on accuracy and space utilization.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse policies, including proper lifting techniques.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff regarding inventory needs and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating a forklift (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, etc.) in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license is required.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory or scanning barcodes.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
