Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging items into the warehouse management system.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections of equipment and reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
- Organize stockpiles and ensure aisles are clear for safe navigation.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure a smooth transition of duties.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to work flexible night shift hours (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
