Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of material movements
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Train new operators on equipment usage and safety procedures
- Support cross-functional tasks during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse/manufacturing setting
- Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced night shift environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as operational needs require
