Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload goods
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Support cross-functional teams during peak seasons and special projects
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and overtime
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
