Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory placement in the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of machinery and the work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Assist with inventory counts, stocking, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff regarding stock levels and logistics.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFP) is mandatory.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
