Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to move, stack, count, and inventory materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently to ensure timely distribution.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in safe operating condition and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and 5S standards.
- Perform basic inventory checks and document stock levels accurately.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be willing to obtain a forklift certification (training provided).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and check writing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Valid driver's license (not always required for internal moves, but beneficial).
