Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and shipments.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies immediately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and understand safety labels and operating manuals.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and inventory tracking.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
