Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in counting stock, verifying quantities, and logging inventory data accurately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately fulfill orders by picking items from the warehouse floor and preparing them for shipment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow operations.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Driving Skills: Clean driving record and ability to maneuver large machinery in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
