Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse and dock environments
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on equipment
- Load/unload trucks with precision using proper stacking techniques
- Manage inventory scanning and cycle count documentation
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Train new hires on warehouse safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience in high-volume environments
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
- Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to zero-incident safety culture
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
