Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to transport goods within warehouse facilities
- Inspect and maintain forklifts daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance
- Load/unload shipments and organize inventory in designated storage areas
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Assist in inventory counts and documentation of material movements
- Maintain clean, organized work environment to prevent hazards
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain within 7 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- OSHA 10-hour safety certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
