Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Efficiently select items from shelves and pack them securely for shipment using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock levels are up to date.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards and safety regulations.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery safely and according to OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team environment to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time to maintain high service levels.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, twist, lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and reach overhead.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic and using handheld scanners.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and detail to minimize errors in order fulfillment.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not always required for this specific entry-level role.
