Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, ocean, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices)
- Optimize routing and carrier selection for cost efficiency
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive client updates
- Resolve customs clearance issues and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and finance teams
- Maintain accurate shipment databases in logistics software
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certified Customs Broker (preferred) or strong import/export knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- College degree in Supply Chain or related field
