Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, ensuring timely delivery through carrier partnerships
- Manage inventory control systems and optimize warehouse space utilization
- Process customs documentation and compliance for cross-border shipments
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop client-specific shipping solutions
- Track shipments using TMS platforms and provide proactive status updates
- Resolve logistics disruptions and implement contingency plans
- Generate shipping reports and analyze performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving skills under tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal/written communication abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work flexible hours during peak seasons
