Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes across multiple carriers and modes (air, ocean, ground)
- Manage documentation compliance (customs forms, bills of lading, commercial invoices)
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier contracts for cost efficiency
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and proactively resolve delays
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams for integrated logistics planning
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or supply chain management
- Proficiency with TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active) and logistics software
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- Forklift certification and OSHA training a plus
