Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and delays through strategic carrier negotiations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory and packaging standards
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Optimize shipping routes and costs while maintaining service level agreements
- Generate shipping reports and KPIs for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Certified in hazardous materials shipping (DOT/IATA preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for client and carrier interactions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field (or equivalent experience)
