Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations
- Manage inventory control systems and warehouse logistics for optimal efficiency
- Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies
- Process customs documentation and manage import/export compliance
- Track shipments using TMS/WMS systems and provide real-time status updates
- Analyze shipping metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain accurate records of shipping documentation and performance data
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of shipping coordination or logistics experience
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and TMS platforms
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and shipping documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Forklift certification and warehouse safety training preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
