Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control processes to achieve 99.5% accuracy
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain zero-accident standards
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with carriers and vendors
- Utilize WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan Active) for operational efficiency
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S)
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution/logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
