Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities
- Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability and performance
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols to ensure accident-free operations
- Optimize inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities with transportation and procurement teams
- Analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance and facility upkeep
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience with proven team leadership success
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training credentials
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret operational data
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
