Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials and products within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Receiving & Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick and pack orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery to shipping lanes.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, ensuring proper labeling and storage of stock.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and cross-functional departments to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory for motivated candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods of time.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new warehouse software quickly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and processing orders.
- Soft Skills: Reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced team environment.
- Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but we provide training upon hiring.
