Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight, stock, and other materials by hand or using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify and count incoming stock against paperwork, identifying discrepancies or damages.
- Package and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and maintain a clean workspace.
- Assist in inventory control processes and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and safety goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory verification.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Valid driver's license (not always required but preferred for some roles).
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
