Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload shipments onto and off of trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Process incoming and outgoing inventory accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Picking and Packing: Locate and retrieve items based on customer orders, ensuring accurate packaging and labeling.
- Equipment Operation: Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and other warehouse equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required for qualified candidates.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to read and understand safety manuals.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required for some positions.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
