Responsibilities
- Pick & Pack Orders: Efficiently and accurately select products from the warehouse shelves and prepare them for shipment using handheld scanners.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies or damaged stock immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided).
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all packages meet company standards for safety and presentation before they leave the facility.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and operational deadlines.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: High school diploma or GED preferred; however, a strong willingness to learn is the most important factor.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure order accuracy and quality control.
- Reliability: Consistent track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Communication: Basic ability to read, write, and speak English clearly for safety and communication purposes.
- Availability: Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
