Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of inbound and outbound merchandise. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of inventory accuracy and workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency: Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a safe and timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming stock against packing lists, perform cycle counts, and update inventory systems to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with strict adherence to quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs, incident reports, and paperwork required for shipping and receiving.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Equipment Knowledge: Basic knowledge of forklifts, scanners, and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors in inventory and shipping documentation.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
