Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, scan, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Efficiently pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment using RF scanners
- Maintain organized inventory through cycle counts and system updates
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and compliantly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Uphold OSHA safety standards and 5S workplace organization principles
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; warehouse experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation
- Flexible availability including weekends and holiday shifts during peak seasons
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Valid Louisiana driver's license (required for occasional yard operations)
