Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate inventory counts and maintain organized stockrooms to ensure product availability.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare and package orders efficiently for shipment, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Stock Organization: Rotate stock and organize warehouse shelves to optimize storage space and retrieval speed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory management is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and processing orders.
- Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; we provide training.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends if necessary.
