Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move stock throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate stock counts and maintain organized warehouse records to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Packaging: Properly package and label products for shipment, ensuring all safety standards are met.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and ship customer orders promptly and accurately to meet service level agreements.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk extensively.
- License: Valid Forklift Certification (Class A or B) is a plus.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Attitude: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
