Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and label products to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently.
- Inventory Control: Assist in cycle counts, stock rotation, and maintaining accurate inventory records using handheld scanners.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance on material handling equipment.
- Organization: Keep storage areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards.
- Customer Support: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding inventory discrepancies or operational issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and navigate a busy warehouse floor.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience with barcode scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
