Responsibilities
- Pick, Pack, and Ship: Accurately select, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment in compliance with company standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in regular stock counts.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure proper packaging to prevent transit damage.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and clutter-free to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and log system updates in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with barcode scanners.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification (if applying for a position requiring it) is highly preferred.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
