Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload freight from trucks and trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing inventory, count stock, and update records in the warehouse management system.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with high accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks) in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets quality standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and shift supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and math skills for inventory counting.
- License: Valid Forklift certification is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Attitude: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
