Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely move materials, products, and merchandise from incoming trucks to storage areas and vice versa.
- Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently using warehouse management systems.
- Inventory management: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure product availability.
- Equipment operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and according to safety protocols.
- Quality control: Inspect products for defects or damage and report any issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Safety compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Background check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic English reading and writing skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver's license: A valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required.
