Job Overview:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment using modern technology and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Pick, Pack, and Ship: Accurately process customer orders using warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure 99% accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels in designated storage areas.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials and products throughout the facility.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse floor, including sweeping and organizing shelves.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork for shipments, returns, and inventory transfers accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we provide paid training for motivated candidates.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and preparing shipments.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for counting, weighing, and measuring stock.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently to understand safety protocols and communicate with team leads.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work overtime and weekends as business needs dictate.
- Forklift Certification: Current forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
