Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile stock levels to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Truck Loading/Unloading: Load and unload trailers and trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets quality standards before shipment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to use handheld scanners.
- Background: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
