Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare customer orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock rotation to ensure product freshness and availability.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (training provided), and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy before processing.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and 5S standards.
- Shipping & Receiving: Load and unload trucks efficiently, verifying manifests against physical goods.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; a willingness to learn is the only requirement.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
