Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise: Safely move products from delivery trucks to storage areas or directly to shipping docks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in organizing, sorting, and tagging inventory using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all items are securely wrapped and labeled according to specifications.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects and report discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk extensively, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be available for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Communication: Basic English skills required for reading labels, scanning codes, and communicating with supervisors.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
