What You Will Do:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in our supply chain operations. Your daily tasks will include moving, locating, and verifying items of varying sizes. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and committed to maintaining a high standard of safety.
Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload products from trucks and pallets onto warehouse shelves or shipping containers.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management software.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (after certification), and conveyor belts as trained.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organization: Keep work areas clean, organized, and clutter-free to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic addition, subtraction, and counting for inventory purposes.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling products and data.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check.
