Responsibilities
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently process orders, pick items accurately, and prepare them for shipment using handheld scanners and RF guns.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and performing cycle counts.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts (training provided) to move pallets and heavy materials within the warehouse.
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using dock doors and forklifts, ensuring cargo security.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required for entry-level positions).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when scanning barcodes and counting inventory.
- Communication: Basic English reading and speaking skills required for safety instructions.
- Driving: Valid driver’s license is a plus but not mandatory.
