Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and conveyor systems, ensuring safe operation at all times.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment using handheld RF scanners and WMS systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing packages for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues.
- Assist in inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and efficiency targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts).
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanning devices or warehouse management software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Chicago, IL location.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
