Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Packaging: Ensure all items are securely packaged, labeled correctly, and ready for shipment to maintain high accuracy rates.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and colleagues to optimize workflow and meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and comfort with handheld technology.
